Open Space Groups are community spaces that can be organized for multiple purposes and can span a range of topics, events, and subject areas. Groups provide a way for users to connect and collaborate with like-minded educators around the state, organize resources using folders, and create and participate in discussions.

Mary Rowland is a former high school English teacher with 14 years of teaching experience. Mary is an accomplished leader who facilitated professional development in her previous district on integrating web-based tools into the classroom, Google Apps for Education, and writing across the curriculum. Mary is passionate about supporting INFOhio’s mission to help Ohio’s educators integrate the tools and resources to strengthen education for Ohio’s students.
Matt Yauk leads initiatives for Open Educational Resources, communities of practice, and content evaluation and curation. He is a certified educator who has worked as a Business and Technology teacher and as an Instructional Designer and Academic Technology Director in higher education. He has a B.S. in Education: Technical Education and Training from The Ohio State University and a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from University of Cincinnati. The positive impact on student learning and educator development has always been his primary focus.
