Open Space groups foster discussion, collaboration, and sharing of resources and best practices among Ohio education professionals. To ensure best user experience, INFOhio and ISKME are taking steps to eliminate spam in Open Space.

Beginning in February 2025, Open Space account holders who wish to create groups will need to submit a request. All requests will be reviewed by members of the INFOhio team.

Most groups, including the INFOhio Community, will require a request to join that will be reviewed by members of the INFOhio team or by other group admins.

Additionally, INFOhio will remove existing accounts that don't align to these best practices for using Open Space:

• Use your school/agency email address when creating an Open Space account so your account can be verified. Accounts created using an email address that cannot easily be verified as that of an Ohio educator may be deleted and/or blocked.
• Before you recommend or submit resources in Open Space, please review the rubric. Recommendations and submissions that don't meet the criteria in the rubric, even if the recommendations are made as part of a discussion and not an official submission, will be deleted.
• Keep accounts and groups you've created active by logging into the platform periodically. Accounts and groups that are inactive for an extended period of time will be deleted.
