Chapter Recap
  • When hectic end-of-the-year schedules, nice weather, and summer are approaching, providing meaningful learning activities can become difficult.
  • Reflecting on all of the learning that has taken place over the school year is a great way to keep students engaged and celebrate their accomplishments.
  • Suggestions for end-of-the-year technology projects include:
    • Digital memory books.
    • Digital vision boards.
    • End-of-the-year video reflections.
    • How-to books for incoming students.
    • Videos for advice for future students.

One project asks students to set goals and share how grit and determination help them achieve goals. INFOhio has picture books that educators can share with students that discuss this concept.

Share Be Strong! A Hero’s Guide to Being Resilient. After reading the book as a class, have students think about these situations. How could they overcome these challenges? What would they do?
